Everyone has engaged in the act of self-sabotage at some point. Many of us engage in it regularly. It’s tricky because it is not just about an emotion but includes autopilot behaviors.
This interactive workshop brings awareness to a variety of ways that self-sabotage shows up and offers a way to break the cycle – rewire your neuro-behavior – utilizing Tapping (EFT). Tapping activates meridian points in the body and deactivates the alarm system response. Tapping halts the fight/flight/freeze response by reprogramming our brain’s memory center. Our expectations of or perceived threats can often trigger us, but tapping works to retrain the mind so as to no longer be triggered by these negative perceptions.
After working 20+ years in creative industries and recruiting, Tara witnessed too many uncomfortable outcomes and situations for both employers and employees that could have been circumvented. A shift needed to happen and she wanted to be of greater service for both. She began coaching. Her work utilizes a combination of tools in a somatic approach to help people work through emotional and trauma reprocessing. When people experience emotional regulation (calm), they can access their best cognitive functioning and health moving from surviving to thriving. Her 1:1 clients have experienced freedom from life long phobias, pain, anxiety, trauma, and burnout, and are living what they once referred to as a distant possibility.
Tara has studied in multiple holistic disciplines including: EFT, TFT, NLP, IFS – Parts Work, Hypnosis, Breathwork, Emotional Regulation, Narrative Therapy, Unconscious Bias Transformation, Energy Medicine and others. She is currently studying advanced coursework on trauma.
