Humility is the practice of being humble, mild mannered and thoughtful. Making mistakes is part of learning and growing. Today, remember at least one mistake you have made and reflect on what you have learned from it.

  • Why is humility a good characteristic to have and to practice each day?
  • What role does humility play in our causes for justice and building community?
Action
  • Write about a mistake you made, what you learned from it and how you do things differently now.
  • Make a list of 2-3 ways you can practice humility.
  • Practice at least one of them today.

Fritzi Horstman

Founder and Executive Director

 

Fritzi Horstman is the Founder and Executive Director of Compassion Prison Project. She is a Grammy-award winning producer for her work on “The Defiant Ones”, has been a producer and post-producer on dozens of television projects and documentaries and has directed several films. She believes it is urgent to bring humanity and compassion to those living behind bars and these acts will help transform our society. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Vassar College.
