Day 40 - Dialogue

A healthy society is one in which those who disagree can do so with honor and respect for other people’s opinions.

Reflection
  • We might not always agree with other people, but when we truly listen to what they have to say, we are having a dialogue.
  • We say what we think, and then we listen to the other person so we can understand what they think and learn from them.
Action
  • Today, find someone who holds a belief different from your own.
  • Listen fully to the thoughts and feelings of the other person, then share your own thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
  • Look for the similarities in why each of you believe what you do.
