Day 41 - Unity

Diversity gives variety to life and is often only on the surface. Our challenge is to see beyond outer differences in opinions and appearances. There is peace and nonviolence in unity as we recognize ourselves in others, a transformation from separation to unity.

Reflection
  • The notion of unity does not imply lack of diversity.
  • Rather, it speaks to the threads of connection running through all that is.
  • What makes us all the same, despite our differences?
Action
  • Think of three people that you feel separate from.
  • Now, write down ten things that you have in common with those people.
  • Write or draw about how it feels to focus on your similarities rather than your differences.
