Day 66 - Celebration

Nonviolence is about building the courage to speak and act with respect, reverence and compassion. Celebrate the journey that you have made with countless others who believe that every individual can move the world in the direction of peace with their nonviolent choices and actions.

  • Celebrate your knowledge and maturity, your choice of nonviolence and the journey you have chosen.
  • Consider why celebration is important in our lives.
Action
  • Think of ways you can celebrate your own accomplishment as well as the accomplishments of others.
  • Plan a celebration that acknowledges these achievements and uplifts the continued practice of nonviolence in your community.

Fritzi Horstman

Founder and Executive Director

 

Fritzi Horstman is the Founder and Executive Director of Compassion Prison Project. She is a Grammy-award winning producer for her work on “The Defiant Ones”, has been a producer and post-producer on dozens of television projects and documentaries and has directed several films. She believes it is urgent to bring humanity and compassion to those living behind bars and these acts will help transform our society. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Vassar College.
